While May wraps up our Spring, June is introducing us to Summer. And even though seasons change, there is one thing that stays with us and that is music.
My tastes might be seen as, well, a little schizophrenic. I listen to so many varieties of songs, different genres, old and new, that I’m pretty sure anyone who heard my playlist would think it was for more than one person or more than one personality.
But what’s wrong with that?
Here are the 16 songs that I have on repeat entering into summer. You know, besides the Jonas Brothers. I have them on repeat year round.
- Waiting All Night – Rudimental ft. Ella Eyre
- Don’t It – Billy Currington
- This Summer’s Gonna Hurt Like A MotherF****r – Maroon 5
- Sweet Life – Frank Ocean
- Love On Top – Beyonce
- Til The City Goes Under – SunGhosts
- The Night Is Still Young – Nicki Minaj
- Make Me Wanna – Thomas Rhett
- Black Skinhead – Kanye West
- Holdin On – Flume
- Slow Motion – Trey Songz
- Too Original – Major Lazer ft. Elliphant and Jovi Rockwell
- You’re So Beautiful – Empire Cast
- Pray to God – Calvin Harris and HAIM (R3hab Remix)
