This month is already promising epic music, starting off with Miami’s baby, Rolling Loud, (and one of my favorite times of year.) Rae Sremmurd channeled their inner OutKast in their third new album by featuring songs that gave them turns at the spotlight. Leon Bridges brought back 70’s R&B and jazz. Christina Aguilera made a comeback. And Travis Scott fed his fans earlier today, featuring Kanye West and Lil Uzi. (Keep your ears out for his new album, Astroworld, which can drop at any second.)

RAYE – Side Tape

More mainstream artists releasing music this month: Arctic Monkeys, Swae Lee, J Balvin, Maluma and Ski Mask the Slump God dropping a mixtape two days before his scheduled performance at RL. But you’ll definitely catch new artists making the scene like RAYE, Cuco, Felix Snow and Marian Hill with her debut album, Unusual.

April’s last minute hot new singles and releases, though, are dancing with us into May.

Post Malone – Beerbongs & Bentleys

Post Malone sound in May smashing Spotify streaming records with Beerbongs & Bentleys. J.Cole finished the month out roasting Gen. Z’s obsession with SoundCloud rap and KOD with his new album entitled the same. And Ariana Grande dropped a song off of her upcoming album that I actually like.

But it’s not just about new releases. This month is bottling up all types of mood swings — especially for the seniors — ranging from bad bitch to nostalgic. Music is my favorite way of expressing my feelings. I hope these songs help with you match whatever your mood is.
